He was one of the most analytical thinkers of the time. Well read, astute and articulate, he was a prolific writer. He wrote on diverse subjects such as Languages, education system, prices, literature, bhakthi movement, several book reviews including a brilliant comparison of Bhagavadgite and Crime & Punishment of Dostoevsky, Federalism, apart from social, political and trade union issues. Three of his books in Kannada have been published and one of which ‘Dudiyuvara Dani mattu ithara lekhanagalu” won the Karnataka Saahitya Academy Award.
